About Us

Hastings Insurance Agency is a full service independent insurance agency that has been operating in the Hot Springs area since 1988. Originally founded in 1935 in Marked Tree, Arkansas, it has been family owned since its inception.

Linda Worthy is the fourth generation to take over the agency. She has been in the insurance business for 20 years. "It's in my blood, literally. My mother had the agency before me and her parents before her. My great-great aunt started the agency. I couldn't imagine doing anything else." She is also very active with the Independent Insurance Agents of Arkansas, where she served in the past as a Young Agent Committee Member, and now serves on the Governmental Affairs Committee. Linda is also a member of the National Association of Professional Women where she has been named Arkansas’ NAPW woman of the year for 2010. She and her husband Greg Mirdo have 4 children David and Jared Webb and Kaitlyn and Christopher Mirdo.

Her mother, Ann Worthy, retired from the agency operations in 2006 but continues to sell insurance and “fill in” from time to time at the office. Ann also teaches insurance classes for new licensees to become agents. Hastings Insurance Agency also is associated with Hot Springs School of Insurance in offering the pre-licensing classes as well as continuing education courses.

Robin Davis is also a full time licensed agent in the office who has been with the agency for 6 years. She and newcomer CSR Savanna Nobles who has been with the agency for almost a year, are vital personnel that help keep the agency going.

Hastings Insurance Agency primarily writes auto insurance, but they also have great markets for homes and businesses. They also specialize in the hard to place risks. Their office hours are Monday through Friday from 9am-5pm and Saturday from 10am-2pm.
